A new range of products in UMS

UMS launch the 2 first products of its new family range : the highly compact 1 to 3 way Wilkinson Power Divider Combiner (WPD).

Extremely compact, UMS Wilkinson Power Divider Combiners (WPDs) help develop reduced size systems taking advantage of integrated WPDs instead of PCB layout divider/combiner design. They are dedicated tos on board Telecommunications & Radars systems, portable Test & Measurement systems and high channel density compact Radar & Communication systems.  They exhibit very  low insertion loss, good isolation and good matching with low magnitude and phase unbalance.  UMS propose 1 to 3 way Power Divider Combiners. The 2 first products are proposed in a low cost 3x3 QFN package.

They are mainly dedicated to customers developing MIMO antenna where multiple Tx / Rx chains need dividers and combiners  on RF signal paths. They are therefore highly matching the requirements of 5G and Satcom radios solving high density PCB issues thanks to small footprint SMDs. Last but not least Test and Measurement strongly benefit of compact WPDs in RF multi-channel paths for 5G and Satcom testing systems in development & production.

The 2 first products launched by UMS are 1:3 way in QFN package. We will also soon propose 1:2 way in DFN package.

 

The CHW4213-QAG  is a 3 way 15-25GHz Power Divider Combiner manufactured on a UMS proprietary GaAs passive technology. It exhibits an excellent insertion loss of 0.5dB, a good isolation range around 20dB. It exhibits a very good a very good amplitude unbalance <0.5dB and  unbalance phase < +/-2°.

The CHW4313-QAG is a 3 way 24-35GHz Power Divider Combiner manufactured on a UMS proprietary GaAs passive technology. As the CHW4213-QAG, It exhibits an excellent insertion loss of 0.6dB, a good isolation range around 20dB. It exhibits a very good amplitude unbalance +/-0.5dB and a very good unbalance phase -5° .

  • Insertion loss: 0.6dB
  • Isolation: 20dB
  • Good amplitude unbalance: +/-0.5dB
  • Good phase unbalance: -5°
  • QFN package 3X3
  • MSL1

This commercial circuit is facing no known competition and is setting a new state of the art .
