UMS HSE & CSR Policy

At UMS, we are deeply committed to creating a safe and healthy workplace while minimizing the environmental impact of our activities and products through a life cycle perspective. Our approach integrates Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into every aspect of our operations, reflecting our core values and driving long-term excellence.

We continuously strive to improve our performance by setting ambitious objectives within the scope of our HSE management system. At the same time, we operate ethically, transparently, and sustainably—ensuring our practices positively influence people, communities, and the planet.

Guided by our Ethics Code and Integrity Charter, we uphold the highest standards of conduct, promote human rights, and foster inclusive growth across our partnerships. For us, CSR is not a mandate—it’s a mindset that shapes our decisions and strengthens our impact.

The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive, commonly known as RoHS, is a critical piece of legislation aimed at reducing the environmental impact of electronic and electrical equipment (EEE). RoHS seeks to restrict the use of hazardous substances in the manufacturing of electronic products, promoting a more sustainable and eco-friendly approach to the design and production of electronics

REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals), is key European Union (EU) legislation aimed at regulating chemicals. Its main objective is to protect human health and the environment while encouraging innovation and competitiveness in the European chemical industry.
UMS is 100% compliant with this law.
