RoHS & REACH

The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive, commonly known as RoHS, is a critical piece of legislation aimed at reducing the environmental impact of electronic and electrical equipment (EEE). RoHS seeks to restrict the use of hazardous substances in the manufacturing of electronic products, promoting a more sustainable and eco-friendly approach to the design and production of electronics

REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals), is key European Union (EU) legislation aimed at regulating chemicals. Its main objective is to protect human health and the environment while encouraging innovation and competitiveness in the European chemical industry.
UMS is 100% compliant with this law.
Conflict Minerals
Recommendation to limit the use of Tin, Tantalum, Tungstene or Gold metal coming from conflict-affected or high risk countries and/or areas with widespread and systematic violations of international law, including human rights abuses.
UMS controls the it supply chain to ensure the traceability of its minerals.
