Since its founding in 1996 as a joint venture between Airbus and Thales, UMS has been at the heart of European defense innovation.
Our mission: to develop and supply sovereign, high-performance RF components for ground-based, airborne, naval, spaceborne radar systems and electronic warfare platforms. Nearly three decades later, that mission has evolved into a legacy—one built on trust, precision, and technological excellence.

Our deep expertise in III-V semiconductor technologies, particularly GaAs and GaN, enables us to deliver components that meet the most demanding requirements: low noise, high power, exceptional linearity, and unmatched robustness. Through partnerships with various Ministries of Defense (MODs) we accelerated innovative solutions for our customers.
